Display Screen Equipment (DSE) & Ergonomic Training

  • Prevent injury and improve desk setup
    Meet your legal duty to reduce musculoskeletal risks across office, home and hybrid workspaces. As an employer, you must protect your workers from the health risks of working with display screen equipment (DSE), such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

    Incorrect use of DSE or poorly designed workstations or work environments can lead to pain in necks, shoulders, backs, arms, wrists and hands as well as fatigue and eye strain.

    The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations apply to workers who use DSE daily, for continuous periods of an hour or more.

    The course will provide employees with:

    • A better understanding of desk-related musculoskeletal injuries.

    • The cumulative effect of poor posture and bad habits.

    • The employee’s legal duty to follow the DSE risk assessment and advice.

    • How to correctly set up their workstation.

    • Daily desk-based exercises to prevent stiffness, tension and risk of injuries
