OH One’s ‘Mental Health for Managers’ Workshop Success Continues….

OH One’s Mental Health for Managers Workshop continues to be in high demand. The session, which has been specifically developed to deliver over Microsoft Teams, is delivered by our Consultant Occupational Health Physician, Dr David Batman.

We have recently delivered the session on a partnership basis, with a progressive recruitment agency from the Cambridgeshire area, ‘Avocet Staffing’.

Avocet funded the Workshop for some of their local business leaders and HR representatives, in order to promote better management of mental health in the local business community. We are always thrilled to contribute to improved understanding and discourse around mental health challenges.

The benefits of the video conference technology have been critical for many of us professionally and personally this year. On this occasion, the technology has allowed us to share Dr Batman’s expertise with a range of businesses all in one session.

Based in Soham, Cambridgeshire, Avocet have over 12 years experience in providing professional assistance to jobseekers and clients. They focus on finding sustainable and meaningful employment for their clients, and are committed to promoting wellbeing, and communicating openly with people.

The workshop attendees varied from self-employed HR professionals, to senior HR manager from one of the biggest companies in the UK.

The delegates overall rated the course as ‘Excellent’ (that’s the top score!), and 100% of them would recommend the training to friends & colleagues. They were a talkative and engaged bunch, and the dialogue was duly constructive and very encouraging from a clinical point of view.
