The Health and Safety Event: the Before

A few months ago we attended the Health and Safety event, while we’re still settling down from the event, we wanted to recall some of the ways that we prepared for such an event.

The Health and Safety Event

If you’re unaware of what this event is, essentially, it’s a two-day long event where businesses, freelancers, and experts in the health and safety industry come together to promote their products and discuss the important changes and current standards in health and safety.

Health and safety dominate the business world. It is a topic fundamental in ensuring that companies across the UK comply with the health standards of the law, for the sake of their employees and themselves.

This topic is one that saves lives and ensures fair working conditions, that’s why we at OH One had to be a part of it.

Preparation

To prepare for the event, we brought a stand for the two days – and we met some incredible people (but more to come later).

With this stand, we had two members of the OH One team there in attendance, we also had to prepare marketing material for the event – think banners, flyers, that sort of thing.

As we’re based in York, we had to travel down to Birmingham to attend the event.

And although the trip was long, it was worth it entirely.
